Appalachian Communities Opioid Response Summit

Welcome to the ACOR Summit!

The State Rural Health Associations in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia have teamed up to gather ideas and resources for addressing the opioid crisis and other Substance Use Disorders in the Appalachian Region.  We are inviting community-level stakeholders to our capstone event, *May 12 in Huntingon, WV.

Keynote Speaker will be Lauren Sisler from ESPN.  What does a football reporter know about drug overdoses?  The Giles County, Virginia native will join us to talk about her journey from denial to acceptance to advocacy.  Check out a podcast episode featuring her on the Rural Health Voice.
