What is happening in Richmond to make sure Virginia’s rural communities have access to broadband? Evan Feinman, the Governor’s Chief Broadband Advisor joined me to talk about what is being done and how you can help.
If you want to promote broadband expansion in Virginia’s rural communities, here are actions you can take:
- Join the Commonwealth Connect Coalition
- Contact your local county Board of Supervisors and ask what is being done to provide access in your community.
- Contact your General Assembly member and request that the Governor’s Broadband Initiative be fully funded.
- Contact your member of Congress and encourage them to place broadband as a top priority
- Contact the SCC and support the Grayson County broadband project (scroll to Case Number PUR-2019-00145)
